Game Preview
The Pacers were furious in the previous event. They set the tone in the first period, scoring 43 points, and apart from a slight crisis in the second quarter, held everything in their hands.
Haliburton posted a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists and 12 boards WITHOUT a single turnover. Siakam was there to help with 30 points, while Bennedict Mathurin added 20 off the bench. Indiana had 30 team assists.
The Knicks again had more boards, 44-33, yet that didn’t help. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 24 points with 12 boards, and Josh Hart had 11 rebounds off the bench. The top scorer was Jalen Brunson who had 31 points with five assists.
OG Anunoby had 22 points and Mikal Bridges 17, but all this wasn’t enough to stop the Pacers, who were constantly ahead. The Knicks went to the foul line 39 times, and we already see them posting similar numbers at home on Thursday.
Pacers vs. Knicks Head to Head
It’s 3-1 in the series for the Pacers. Two of the previous three events went UNDER.
Pacers vs. Knicks Game 5 Predictions
Knicks will be ruthless on the floor, as they have nothing to lose. Given the officiating criteria, which lean to their side in some situations, especially at MSG, we expect a tougher and more physical game here. The Knicks are in a do or die situation, and that’s why we take UNDER 222.5 points.
