The Dolphins survived an early scare, going down 14-0 to Carolina in the first quarter, to win 21-42 in week 6. RB Raheem Mostert was dominant once again, with 17 carries for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground and 3 receptions for 17 yards and 1 score through the air. Salvon Ahmed, Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill added further scores as Miami ran riot for another huge victory.
The Eagles led 14-9 at halftime in their week 6 matchup with the Jets, but 11 unanswered second half points saw them lose the game to the shock of most fans and analysts. QB Jalen Hurts threw 3 interceptions and was sacked twice by a tough New York defense. WR A.J. Brown racked up 131 yards on 7 receptions but the Eagles couldnโt impose themselves on the game in their usual manner. The offense will have to step it up against a Miami side capable of racking up big scores in a short space of time. The Eagles added WR Julio Jones to their roster this week and the 34-year-old could see action straight away if Devonta Smith misses the game with a hamstring injury.
Prediction
Philadelphia are favorites with the market for this one, but I find it hard to bet against a Miami side that I can see going all the way this season. Iโll take the slight underdogs here and back a Dolphins win.
